Arians addresses 4-H, FFA at event
BLOOMINGTON – An area ag professional was the keynote speaker at this year’s McLean County Chamber of Commerce Ag Awareness Breakfast, targeting his speech to the young people in attendance.
Sean Arians is the grower direct lead with Advanced Agrilytics and spoke to the FFA’ers and 4-H members at the event held in Bloomington. Arians discussed the food and supply chain which farmers have a place in and the role young people can play in the future.
According to Arians, a career in ag could include technology development or working on equipment, among other responsibilities.
“From a number of roles throughout my career in technology and equipment and putting it into a practical application focusing on an agronomic approach,” Arians told The Central Illinois Farm Network.
