Meenen receives 4-H scholarship

MELVIN - One of 17 $1,000 scholarships through the Illinois 4-H Foundation has been awarded to a Ford County 4-H member.

Mitchell Meenen is studying precision agriculture technology at Parkland College and is the son of Steve and Kimberly Meenen of Melvin. The 4-H scholarships are awarded to 4-H members demonstrating and maintaining a high standard of 4-H excellence and mastery during a membership tenure.
