Meetings to focus on markets

GIBSON CITY – You’ll have a couple of chances to brush-up on marketing during some informational meetings in the area this week.

Alliance Grain Company will host a summer outlook event with Roach Ag Marketing this Tuesday (June 12) at Railside Golf Course in Gibson City with lunch provided. Topics include the U.S. crop outlook, Chinese demand, tariffs and the global supply and demand for crops.

Prairie Central Co-op will hold a market outlook meeting Thursday (June 14) starting at 5 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Odell, also featuring Brian Roach of Roach Ag Marketing. An update on the grain markets will be given along with ways to make sure selling decisions are supported by important drivers in price.
