Manure refresher to be offered

MAHOMET – A manure application refresher course is planned for Mar. 8 at Farm Credit Illinois, 1100 Farm Credit Drive in Mahomet.

The course is offered from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and lunch is provided. With the ground thawing and planting right around the corner, this is the perfect opportunity for a refresher on application.

Guest speakers include: Dave Ginder with IL EPA, Ted Funk with IPPA and NRCS specialists. Other workshops are planned for Mar. 15 in Mt. Vernon, Mar. 20 in Monmouth and April 3 at Sycamore.
