GFAI marks 125th convention
PEORIA - The Grain and Feed Association of Illinois is marking its 125th annual Convention and Trade Show this week.
“Honoring the Past Shaping the Future” is the theme for the event which is held at the Peoria Civic Center Sunday through Tuesday (Feb. 18-20). This includes the GFAI annual meeting.
An anniversary celebration takes place Sunday evening from 6:30-9:00 p.m. A legislative breakfast is planned for Monday and the general session from 9:30-11:00 a.m. will feature John O’Leary, who will speak about inspirational leadership. A closing breakfast and general session will be held Tuesday from 8:00-10:30 a.m. with the president’s comments from Joe Kapraun, business manager for GROWMARK. Also, Eric Snodgrass of Agrible will discuss managing weather risk in agriculture.
