Busy Agronomy Day planned
The Livingston County Farm Bureau Marketing Committee, COUNTRY Fincial Representatives Marlon Eilts and Darryl Tinges and Evergreen FS are hosting the 2017 Livingston County Agronomy Day, Friday, January 13th, 2017 at the Livingston County Extension Office at 1412 South Locust Street in Pontiac. The session will run from
9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
Experts from universities, Illinois Farm Bureau and the private sector will be sharing their insights on topics including pest and weed management, grain and weather outlooks for the coming year, cover crops and updates on water quality.
The following Certified Crop Advisor Continuing Education Units in these areas have been approved for: Professional Development – 1 CEU, Soil & Water Management – 1 CEU, and Crop Management – 4.5 CEU, Nutrient Management-2 CEU
Registration and coffee & donuts begin at 8:45 a.m. A complimentary lunch will be provided.
