JBS hit with cyberattack

Some are fearing higher prices or even meat shortages after the world’s largest meat supplier suffered a cyberattack during the long holiday weekend.

JBS reportedly told the White House this likely resulted from a criminal group with ties to Russia. Several JBS locations around the U.S. and in Canada and Australia had to shut down.

The FBI is now investigating the matter and most of the meat plants are expected to be back up and running today, Wednesday.
