USDA-NASS on Wednesday released the Illinois Crop Production report information.
Winter wheat harvested area in 2024 is forecast at 680,000 acres, down 13 percent from the previous year. The winter wheat yield forecast is 82 bushels per acre, down 5 bushels from 2023.
Production in Illinois is forecast at 55.8 million bushels, down 18 percent from last year.
