ILICA annual picnic Aug. 20

The Illinois Land Improvement Contractors Association (ILICA) is hosting its Annual Picnic and Summer Members’ Meeting in historic Pontiac on Saturday, August 20.

For decades, Illinois LICA has held annual picnics throughout the state to bring members and local contractors together for the opportunity to network and socialize for a day of fun filled activities.

The event starts at 9 am with a group photo in front of the Route 66 Mural and tours of Bob Waldmire's Road Yacht, Route 66 Museum, Livingston County War Museum, and Pontiac-Oakland Car Museum, followed by a Jolly Trolley ride to Chautauqua Park for a catered picnic lunch at noon. The Members' Meeting will immediately follow lunch, during which time non-members and spouses can opt to explore the vintage market, historic homes, & shops of downtown Pontiac. Everyone is invited to stick around later for the Pontiac Cruise Night!

Registration is only $15 per person or $40 per family (up to five). Illinois LICA invites members and anyone interested in joining us for the day’s activities and picnic to attend, especially those engaged in conservation construction or resource management. (Only current ILICA members may participate in the Members’ Meeting.)
