Cuttin' with Casson: The Hustler mower

(The Hustler mower is shown, from Stoller International)

Welcome to a new feature we are calling “Cuttin’ with Casson” as we test drive various mowers from Stoller International throughout the spring and summer mowing season.

The first mower I’ve had the honor of operating for the past couple of weeks is a Hustler. This particular one is a commercial model and boy can it cut grass! You can fly through just about any condition as it really cuts down on your mowing time.

I’m digging the high-back suspension seat, dual fuel tanks, commercial grade Kawasaki engine and even the USB port. The Fastrak SDX has a larger transmission and more warranty coverage.

On the residential side, the DASH XD is Hustler Turf’s most compact residential mower designed for smaller property owners. It is idea for garage storage and fitting through tight spaces like fence gates. The one piece fabricated frame and welded steel deck come standard along with a bolstered seat, Kawasaki Power and BigBite tires.

Clear back in 1964, Hustler Turf introduced the world’s first twin-lever zero-turn lawn mower. Ever since, Hustler Turf has been improving the original design. The Hustler advantage includes Smoothtrak steering, an integrated park brake, fabricated decks, tough frames, a simple design and precision cut quality.

To see the complete line of Hustler mowers and other lawn and ag products, visit your nearest Stoller International location in Pontiac, Herscher, Minonk, Streator or Ottawa. You can also visit www.stollerih.com.

Stay tuned for more mowing adventures during “Cuttin’ with Casson” on the Central Illinois Farm Network, powered by Stoller International.
