Golf outing fundraiser is Thursday

PONTIAC – Since there is no Livingston County Ag Fair this week, the Livingston County Farm Bureau Foundation will be doing a different type of fundraiser.

With the absence of a booth at the fair to benefit scholarships for local students, the Farm Bureau has decided to hold a golf outing this Thursday at Wolf Creek Golf Course in Cayuga, which is located north of Pontiac off of Route 66.

“We are doing registration up until 9:30 in the morning,” stated Livingston County Farm Bureau manager Chris Bunting.

The event starts at 10 a.m. with 19 teams currently signed up and several hole sponsors as well. Bunting said they can take a couple more teams the day of the event if anyone wants to stop out.

“Hopefully, the weather is cooperative and not terribly hot.”
