I am also the emcee at an Agronomy Day discussion this Thursday (Mar. 5) at the Connection Center in downtown Chatsworth. We are looking forward to hearing from numerous speakers on very timely agronomic topics related to seed, chemicals and the soil. Sessions will be held in the morning and afternoon with lunch in between.
We had a great time celebrating National FFA Week as we started off by covering the FFA auctions at Pontiac and GCMS and ended the week at the annual Prairie Central FFA Farm and Home Show in Forrest. It was great seeing everyone and thanks for stopping by the Central Illinois Farm Network broadcast booth for freebies and conversation at the show.
This Saturday is the 12th annual Flanagan-Cornell FFA Alumni Auction with a greenhouse tour starting at 4:30 p.m. The Ridgeview FFA Auction is the same night with a meal, silent auction and live auction at Ridgeview High School in Colfax. See you there!
