CHENOA – Corteva came together in June and is now a U.S.-based company not only serving this country but also the entire world.
Steve Dietz, district sales leader for Pioneer, discussed how Corteva will support Pioneer on the back side during the recent customer appreciation plot tour hosted by Atkins Seed Service, a local Pioneer seed dealership.
“Pioneer is the flagship brand for the company,” Dietz explained.
Pioneer has plenty of new technologies coming out such as the Qrome hybrids for corn and Enlist products for soybeans. The company has three field agronomists per district along with agronomy data services support offered to anyone buying a bag of seed.
Dietz is very excited about what is coming for 2020 and beyond from Corteva and Pioneer.
“We are going to have to make some really tough decisions on what to bring in because of the diversity we are going to be bringing forward,” Dietz acknowledged.
The new company was showcased to attendees of last month’s Farm Progress Show in Decatur. Pioneer featured new germ plasms for corn and beans and the Corteva booth showcased new crop protection offerings for 2020 and beyond.
