Ag award nominations taken

BLOOMINGTON -The deadline for the McLean County Chamber of Commerce ag awards has been extended to this Friday (Jan. 11).

Awards to be presented during a February ceremony in Bloomington include: Outstanding Young Farmer, Outstanding Conservationist, Outstanding Service to Agriculture, Emerging Leader in Agriculture, Outstanding Agribusiness Person and the McLean County Farmer of the Year.

Sponsors are also being sought for the Ag Awareness Breakfast planned for March 20 at the Chateau Hotel and Conference Center in Bloomington.
