Seminars to focus on insurance

Upcoming winter crop seminars are scheduled throughout the state to help farmers on a variety of topics including federal crop insurance offerings, drone use to help with crop monitoring and navigating the claims process should devastation hit your farm.

COUNTRY Financial, Illinois Farm Bureau and other organizations have teamed up for the winter crop seminars, offering dozens of talks around Illinois. Some area meetings will take place Thursday, Jan. 10. A program is offered at the LaSalle County Farm Bureau in Ottawa at 9 a.m. and another will take place at the Indian Creek Country Club in Fairbury with registration at 11 a.m.

Speakers include Doug Yoder, COUNTRY Financial crop agency manager, Joe Camp with Agrivisor and Andrew Mizell, COUNTRY Financial agribusiness competitive intelligence analyst.
