Crain's weather featured weekdays

The Central Illinois Farm Network is proud to announce a weather partnership with meteorologist Joe Crain of NewsChannel 20 WICS-TV in Springfield.

You can catch Joe’s weather forecast each weekday morning at 5:20 a.m. during “A Central Illinois Morning” with Kent Casson which is always available on-demand here on the CIFN website and also heard live on WGCY 106.3 FM in Gibson City.

After starting out on his hometown radio station in Cairo, Illinois while still in high school, Joe has held a variety of jobs with radio stations all around the Midwest before making the switch to TV and NewsChannel 20 back in 2004.

He is a graduate of Mississippi State University’s Broadcast Meteorology Certification program and holds a B.A. in Radio-Television Sales and Management with a minor in journalism from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.
