Pork youth day planned for Feb.

SPRINGFIELD – Youth involved in the swine industry are invited to attend the inaugural pork youth day on Feb. 16 in the livestock center of the Illinois State Fairgrounds.

Check-in starts at 9 a.m. with the program starting at 9:30 and optional YQCA training at 4 p.m. There will be a skill-a-thon, guest speakers and more with lunch provided. A full agenda and registration information can be found at www.ilpork.com.

The event is intended for youth ages 8-18 but all are welcome.
