PAXTON – The defending state champion GCMS Falcons started the 2018 football season with a win, defeating PBL in the Ford County rivalry game 28-0.

The Falcons never looked back after being up 7-0 in the second and 14-0 at halftime. GCMS had a big third quarter with a nine-yard touchdown catch from Bryce Barnes and an 18-yard touchdown handoff from Lance Livingston with 5:45 left in the quarter.

The game was the first of the season for CIFN Sports Central presented by the Precision Planting PTI Farm at Pontiac, where we cover various high school games each week via social media and the website. We had a chance to catch up with members of the PBL FFA chapter prior to the game.
