State Fair butter cow unveiled

SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Butter Cow has been unveiled just ahead of this year’s Illinois State Fair.

The latest creation includes 600 pounds of butter and resembles the grand champion from the 1818 State Fair. The butter cow is located next to an Abraham Lincoln top hat. Check out the display at the Dairy Building on the Illinois State Fairgrounds.

Representatives from Midwest Dairy unveiled the butter cow this week.
