CHATSWORTH – Farmers can learn how to tile a field by attending upcoming field days planned by Nu-Ag Technology in Chatsworth.
The annual demo days are scheduled for Aug. 22-23. The first day includes product displays and training in the morning followed by a tour after lunch and installation of mains in a field. The second day will be spent installing laterals in the field.
“Everybody can come out, see what we got going on and do ride-alongs,” explained J.D. Skaggs of Nu-Ag. “It’s a great event for those that are curious if they can install their own tile. It’s not as hard as some people make it out to be.”
According to Skaggs, Ag Leader has ongoing promotions until September. There are specials on new hydraulic down force systems and the company is offering a trade-in special for a steering device. Ag Leader products will be displayed during the upcoming demo days.
Nu-Ag is now a dealer for AeroVironment hybrid drones which have vertical takeoffs and landing and are relatively new to agriculture. There is an all in one package available where AeroVironment does processing of all images.
