Chatsworth holds Heritage Days
CHATSWORTH – Take a trip back in time during Heritage Days in Chatsworth which is underway through Saturday.
The annual festival includes a cruise night, alumni reunion, balloon ascension, live music and a fishing derby. Everyone always seems to enjoy the Heritage Days parade, which steps off Saturday at 2 p.m.
“Last year, we just had our 150th birthday so it’s always been a nice town,” said Chatsworth Mayor Richard Runyon this week. “It’s a celebration where everybody can get together.”
Historic sites on display this weekend include the old caboose and one-room schoolhouse in the downtown area.
