Operation Care Package returns

Items are once again being collected to benefit members of the military in time for the holiday season.

The Livingston County Farm Bureau, Will County Farm Bureau, Bank of Pontiac, Pontiac Area Chamber of Commerce and Fairbury Chamber of Commerce are teaming up for Operation Care Package 2017.

Donations should be dropped off at these businesses by November 10. Suggested donations include: hot chocolate, small boxes of crackers, canned fruit, multi-vitamins, batteries, sweat pants, cookies, fruit snacks, canned soup, DVD’s, CD’s, Christmas stockings and small gifts.

“We again would like to thank Operation Care Package and the American Legion #1080 for their help and assistance. We have seen and heard that we are making a difference,” a news release from the Livingston County Farm Bureau stated.
