USDA report due out Wednesday

Our monthly reminder of grain stocks, both domestically and globally, happens Wednesday at 11 a.m. when the USDA report is released.

The stocks situation continues to be “very comfortable” according to Aaron Curtis of MIDCO. Many aren’t expecting much change in production numbers, although the USDA can always surprise us.

“We are not really – at this point – expecting them to change a whole lot because those crop conditions continue to hang in there,” Curtis told The Central Illinois Farm Network this week.

Weather continues to trump any USDA news, especially in the short-term.
