Meeting on wind energy planned
NORMAL – Members of the public are invited to a presentation on wind power in McLean County, hosted by the McLean County Barnkeepers group on Wed. May 10 starting at 6:30 p.m.
Local historian Bill Kemp will present information on windmills of the past. Also, Heartland Community College’s Chris Miller will provide an up close look at the Heartland on-site wind turbine, how it works and what the future of wind power will look like. Miller is an instructor of renewable energy.
The presentation will take place at the Heartland Community College WDC room 1400.
