Austman re-elected to board

NORMAL - Jeffrey P. Austman of Forrest has been reelected to the 1st Farm Credit Services’ Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors is comprised of 15 members, of which 12 are clients elected by the Association’s voting stockholders. The Board of Directors meets regularly to set policy and business direction and to monitor and evaluate operations.

Election results were tabulated in July. Jeff has a corn and soybean operation. He serves as a board member for the Prairie Central Board of Education. He also serves as board member for the Gibson Area Hospital Foundation. Jeff serves on the Compensation and Governance Committees. He has served on the Board since 2009. He has been a Farm Credit member since 1995.

Also re-elected was Steve Cowser of Bradford, while David Muegge of Mendon and Joseph Scheetz of Dallas City were elected to their first term.
